As we expand our capabilities in AI-driven content creation, we are growing the AI department with experienced supervisors who can bridge high-end VFX craft with the rapidly evolving world of Generative AI.

Role Overview
The Generative AI Supervisor is a senior-level role responsible for supervising day-to-day AI production activities, guiding artists, and ensuring the highest standards of quality across AI-driven projects, and may require shot/key shot compositing based on any given project’s needs. Reporting directly to the AI Producer, this person plays a hands-on leadership role within the department, combining deep VFX compositing expertise with practical Generative AI knowledge to deliver innovative, production-ready results.

This role is ideal for a seasoned compositor who has developed a strong working knowledge of Generative AI tools and is ready to take on supervisory responsibility in a fast-paced, internationally collaborative studio environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
     
Leadership and Supervision
 
  • Supervise and mentor a team of AI artists and compositors, providing both creative and technical direction on a daily basis
  • Review and approve AI-generated and composited output to ensure it meets project and studio quality standards
  • Work closely with the Head of AI to execute departmental priorities, timelines, and objectives
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the AI department and Producers, VFX Supervisors, and other department heads
 
Production and Workflow
 
  • Oversee the integration of AI-generated assets into VFX, advertising, and audiovisual content pipelines
  • Collaborate with pipeline and technical teams to implement and refine Generative AI workflows within existing production infrastructure
  • Monitor project schedules, flag risks, and help the team adapt efficiently to changing production requirements
  • Maintain and enforce best practices for compositing, AI asset integration, and quality control
 
Technical and Creative Direction
 
  • Apply advanced compositing skills for the seamless integration of AI-generated elements into live-action and CG footage
  • Guide artists in the use of tools including Nuke, ComfyUI, and other AI-driven image and video technologies
  • Evaluate new Generative AI tools, models, and techniques and provide informed recommendations to the Head of AI
  • Support fine-tuning, LoRA training, dataset creation, and automation pipeline tasks as needed
 
Knowledge Sharing and Development
 
  • Contribute to internal documentation, R&D initiatives, and knowledge-sharing practices within the AI and VFX teams
  • Support the onboarding and development of junior and mid-level artists within the department
  • Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, machine learning, and VFX production technolog

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in VFX compositing, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity
  • Expert-level proficiency in Nuke, including complex compositing, node-based workflows, and integration of CG elements
  • Solid hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and workflows, including image-to-image, image-to-video, video-to-video, and automation pipelines
  • Practical experience with ComfyUI or equivalent node-based AI tools for production use
  • Familiarity with AI fine-tuning, LoRA training, dataset creation, and prompt engineering in a production context
  • Strong understanding of VFX production pipelines, compositing standards, and post-production workflows
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor artists, give constructive feedback, and manage competing priorities under deadline pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, technical, and production disciplines
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
 
Nice to Have
 
  • Experience working across multiple studio locations or in a remote/distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with pipeline tools, Python scripting, or automation development
  • Knowledge of image enhancement and upscaling technologies
