22DOGS, a VFX company with studios in Milan and Tenerife, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in Tenerife. As part of our international and dynamic team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment, supporting our creative and production teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage HR operations across both our Tenerife and Milan studios.
 
Overview
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of HR processes across our studios in Tenerife and Milan. You will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, while ensuring legal compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. This is a hands-on role with a blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, working closely with the HR team based in Milan.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Coordinate job offers and maintain clear, respectful communication with all candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure employee records, including contracts, work permits, vacation days, and absences, are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
  • Oversee smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared, and manage offboarding procedures when necessary, including exit interviews.
  • Administer payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws and social security regulations, with particular attention to Spanish employment law.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with both local Spanish regulations and international standards.
  • Provide guidance on HR-related issues, support employees through challenges, manage labor relations, mediate disputes, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee the administration of performance evaluations, salary reviews, and employee benefits, including health insurance and additional perks.
  • Manage and maintain HR software and systems, ensuring they are current, efficient, and accessible for all employees.
  • Ensure all HR processes are handled with a high level of accuracy and precision, maintaining meticulous attention to detail in compliance with legal standards and company policies

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish employment law and labor regulations.
  • Excellent communication and mediation skills.
  • This position is based on-site in Tenerife. Candidates must either be located in Tenerife or be willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the VFX or creative industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes in creative/technical fields.
