About Us
22DOGS, an international VFX studio, is looking for a Freelance VFX Production Coordinator to support our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in production coordination, particularly within VFX. While this is a freelance position, we’re looking for someone who is able to spend dedicated periods working onsite in Tenerife, collaborating closely with the team during key phases of production.

Job Description
As a Freelance VFX Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our projects, helping to keep workflows running smoothly and schedules on track. You’ll work closely with our production team to coordinate artist schedules, support internal communication, and facilitate productive collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Producer, Leads, and Supervisors to manage and track production workflows, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Organize and facilitate dailies, rounds, and meetings; take clear, actionable notes and keep the production database updated.
  • Act as a communication hub between artists, supervisors, and leads.
  • Flag potential issues proactively and support fast resolution with Producers and Supervisors.
  • Provide daily updates on artist progress and task status.
  • Assist with ad hoc production needs as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in the VFX industry, preferably in a coordination role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential for coordinating effectively with our international team
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to multitask under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of live-action and CG-based VFX pipelines.
  • Familiarity with FTrack or similar project management tools.
